Tata Power and TPEM Expand EV Infrastructure with New MegaCharger Hubs on NH-65
Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM) have inaugurated two new ultra-fast EV charging stations in Telangana, significantly improving charging accessibility on the crucial NH-65 highway. This initiative is designed to support seamless travel between major business hubs, including Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
Strategic Charging Hubs:
Developed in collaboration with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and co-branded as “TATA.ev,” the new stations offer advanced high-speed charging capabilities:
Vivera Junction (Narketpalle): Equipped with two 120 kW DC ultra-fast chargers.
7 Midway Plaza (Suryapet): Features a 240 kW DC ultra-fast charger with dual dispensers.
Expanding the EV Ecosystem:
These new additions expand the Tata Power EV charging network in Telangana to over 150 charging points, reinforcing the state’s transition toward sustainable transportation. The hubs are integrated into the broader “TATA.ev MegaCharger” network, which currently boasts over 750 charging points across India, many of which are accessible via the Tata Power EZ Charge App.
Commitment to Sustainable Mobility:
Tata Power’s comprehensive “EZ Charge” network continues to grow, now encompassing:
Over 2.3 lakh home chargers and 6,500+ public, semi-public, and fleet charging points.
1,200+ E-bus charging points across more than 690 cities and towns.
A robust user base of over 5 lakh registered customers.
By strategically deploying chargers at high-traffic locations such as highways, hotels, malls, and commercial hubs, Tata Power remains at the forefront of facilitating the rapid adoption of electric mobility across India.
