Intriguing Glimpse of Sci-Fi Action Thriller “KILLER” Unveiled

Director Poorvaj, who impressed movie lovers with unique films like Shukra, Maatarani Mounamidi, and A Masterpiece, is now set to create waves with his latest project – a sensational sci-fi action thriller titled “KILLER”. What makes this film even more interesting is that Poorvaj himself is playing the lead role. The film features Jyothi Poorvaj as the female lead, with Vishal Raj, Dasharath, Chandu, and Goutham in other key roles.

Jointly produced by Think Cinema, Merge XR, and AU & I, the film is being backed by producers Poorvaj, Prjay Kamath, and A. Padmanabha Reddy. Notably, this is the second collaborative project under these banners.

Today, the makers released the much-awaited glimpse of “KILLER” in both Telugu and Kannada languages. Blending elements of mythology, science fiction, and superhero genres, the glimpse has managed to captivate audiences with its intriguing visuals and narrative style.

The sneak peek opens with an exploration of ancient Vaimanika Shastra (aeronautical science), hinting at the hidden intelligence and mystical secrets of early civilizations. It asks a gripping question: Are sentient machines – spoken of in ancient texts – becoming a reality now? This sets the stage for the unfolding mystery.

Jyothi Roy, playing a character named Rai who suffers from a rare disorder called D-Bound, is told that her full recovery would be nothing short of a rebirth—and once she’s back, no one can stop her. Her portrayal as the fierce and powerful Super She stands out with stunning action sequences and a compelling, restrained performance.

From love, romance, and revenge to artificial intelligence and thrilling twists, the glimpse hints at a genre-bending narrative. It all concludes with a powerful dialogue from hero-director Poorvaj: “Shall we begin?” – a line that lands with impact.

The high-quality visuals, stellar VFX work, and top-notch virtual production by Merge XR add to the allure, making the teaser a visual treat.
