“Aha Originals 3 Roses” Season 2 is very special in our careers; every episode is Entertains – Harsha Chemudu
The web series “3 Roses,” starring Eesha Rebba, Satya, Harsha Chemudu, Prince Cecil, Hema, Satyam Rajesh, and Kushita Kallapu in key roles, became a super-hit on Aha. Its second season is now set to stream from the 12th of this month. Rashi Singh also plays another important role. The series is produced by SKN under the Mass Movie Makers banner. Director Maruthi has served as the showrunner. The writing is by Ravi Namburi and Sandeep Bolla, while Kiran K Karamallu directed the series. In today’s interview, Eesha Rebba and Harsha Chemudu shared the highlights of “3 Roses” Season 2.
Actress Eesha Rebba said:
– I’m very happy to continue my role in “3 Roses” Season 2. In Season 1, the female characters had separate tracks, but in Season 2 we have more combination scenes together. We also filmed vacation sequences. Rashi, Kushita, and I have done the three key roles.
– Rashi is like a firebrand, while Kushita is playful like a little girl. I really enjoyed acting with both of them. This series doesn’t rely on added glamour; it’s something youth and families can watch together. Season 2 has a total of six episodes, each about 30 minutes long. It ends by giving a lead into Season 3.
– When we shot Season 1, we never expected the scenes between Harsha and me to go viral. We acted with zero expectations. But after the response our pair received, we performed with even more confidence in Season 2. “3 Roses” will remain a special project in our careers. We all enjoyed working on it.
– In the past, very few films focused on strong female roles, but now the number is increasing. When female-oriented projects come, I agree to do them only if I can relate to the character. I learned martial arts during the lockdown. If I get the opportunity, I’d like to act in action films.
– The idea of girls living together on rent, cooking, gossiping, and enjoying life is something I personally connected with in Season 2. I was the same way in my girls’ gang earlier. My film Om Shanti Shanti Shanti is releasing after Sankranti, on January 23. The movie was completed long ago, but we waited for a good release date. A few Telugu projects are under discussion. I’m also doing a Tamil film. My mother’s family is from Rajahmundry and my father’s from Warangal, so I visit Andhra for Sankranti and Warangal during festivals.
Actor Harsha Chemudu said:
– “3 Roses” Season 2 is much bigger in scale than Season 1. The first season was made on a smaller budget, but since it became a hit, Season 2 was produced with higher production values and a larger cast.
– There are also a few guest roles in this season. My character tries to settle the revenge angle from Season 1. Eesha’s and my characters come from completely different places. Compared to other Telugu web series, this one is a proper sequel.
– Some web series have different directors for each episode, but our Season 2 has a new director, Kiran, who handled the entire season. Since the writer and team remained the same, everything was done in good coordination. The whole series is fun and entertaining, while also touching on life, relationships, and friendship – without preaching any messages.
– Along with us, Sudarshan, Satya, Prabhas Srinu, and many others are part of this strong cast. Before we get a name in the industry, we struggle a lot as actors. Now I’m able to choose roles more selectively. If the character is good, I don’t differentiate between lead or supporting roles. I’m playing an important role in a film produced by Sai Rajesh. I also have a role in Prabhas’ The Raja Saab, which appears in a key sequence.
– Maruthi guided the series extremely well. Producer SKN was present on set every day, making sure we faced no issues. Because of both of them, Season 2 is coming on such a grand canvas. Sundaram Master was released during the COVID time; due to the pressure on producers then, it couldn’t release at the right time. I have a long list of heroes I want to work with – hoping to collaborate with all of them someday.
– I’ve acted in almost all the movies releasing this Sankranti. I want to keep working continuously and stay active in the industry. This series gave me the chance to prove that I can handle emotions along with comedy. I did a film called Bakasura, where I played a very different character. I will also appear in a new role in Mowgli. Trends in the industry keep changing – right now the “fun trend” is going strong, and audiences are loving entertaining films. Soon, another trend will come.
