PI Industries Ltd has launched Pioxazon® (Pioxaniliprole 20% SC), powered by India’s first indigenously discovered insecticide active molecule, Pioxaniliprole. Approved and registered by the Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIB&RC), Pioxazon® is targeted at protecting rice, maize, and Bengal gram crops. The commercial roll-out marks a historic achievement in Indian agricultural science, demonstrating the nation’s capability to discover, synthesize, register, and commercialize proprietary crop protection molecules domestically.
