mPokket Appoints Naveen Polishetty as Brand Ambassador
Leading Indian digital lending platform mPokket has officially announced Telugu actor and self-made star Naveen Polishetty as its new brand ambassador for its latest campaign, titled ‘mPokket Ante Non-Stop Growth’. Developed by creative agency Social Panga, the campaign consists of a 35-second master film and two 20-second cohort films built around the central theme: life shouldn’t be one long audition.
Unlike traditional celebrity endorsements, the campaign draws directly from Naveen’s personal journey highlighting his background as a Hyderabad-born engineering graduate who faced over a thousand auditions and repeated rejections before achieving cinematic success. By connecting his resilience and self-belief to the aspirations of India’s youth, mPokket positions itself as a financial partner that backs young dreamers without demanding endless validation or proof.
Film Structure and Narrative Focus:
The campaign employs a high-energy, character-led treatment across its films to address real-world financial hurdles:
Master Film: Transforms Naveen’s journey of overcoming industry rejection into a cultural statement, emphasizing that talent, ambition, and hard work should not have to wait for perpetual validation.
Cohort Film 1: Focuses on a young professional realizing that a lack of credit access, rather than a lack of ambition, is the primary barrier holding back his career progression.
Cohort Film 2: Follows a young woman whose dream of opening a beauty parlour is transformed from wishful thinking into reality through a seamless mPokket interaction.
Leadership Perspectives and Impact Metrics:
Elaborating on the brand’s core mission, Gaurav Jalan, Founder and CEO of mPokket, noted that young Indians are consistently delivering results yet frequently face blocks when attempting to secure credit.
Highlighting the platform’s reach among the country’s youth, Jalan shared key impact metrics:
To date, 6.5 million Indians have secured their first-ever formal loan through mPokket.
Nearly 79% of all New-To-Credit (NTC) borrowers were under the age of 25 at the time of their first loan, establishing the platform as a foundational pillar for young financial identities.
