The Mandal Parishad Primary (MPP) School at Ramachandra-puram adores a new look with the addition of a spacious classroom equipped with adequate desks and benches and a toilet block, donated by the Sri City based Daiki Aluminium India Limited. Knowing through Sri City Foundation that the school in their vicinity needs a classroom and toilets, the management of the company came forward and spent Rs.20.50 lakhs towards this project, as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).

In the handing over ceremony held on Friday at the school premises, Mr. Fujiwara Toshiyuki, Managing Director of the company formally inaugurated and handed over the newly built facilities to the Headmaster. Stating that it was their very first CSR activity he said,”We will take up some more projects of this kind in close coordination with Sri City Foundation for improving the infrastructure of schools in and around Sri City.”

Commenting on the CSR initiative of Daiki Aluminium, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City said,”Sri City Foundation’s focused approach in close partnership with the industrial units has driven remarkable improvement of the infrastructure in government schools in the region. We are happy to note the visible increase in the overall enrolment of children, higher pass percentage, and also winning of laurels by students in sports & games with brilliant performance.”

The Headmaster of the school thanked Mr. Fujiwara Toshiyuki for the good gesture. The newly constructed classroom will be used by both school students and Anganwadi children, as the Anganwadi building is in a very bad shape.

Mr. Sanyasaiah, Village Sarpanch, Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Vice President (Customer Relations), Sri City, Mr. Y. Ramesh, Head, Security & Vigilance, Sri City, Mr. Surendra Kumar, Sr. Manager, Sri City Foundation, Mr. Gaurav Bhalla, Dy.
