Religious enthusiasm and zeal mark Sri Venkateswara temple annual celebrations in Sri City

A large number of people thronged Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple, situated in a lush and pleasant setting within Sri City, to take part in the annual temple festivities on Saturday. In addition to the employees, a large number of devotees from nearby villages, including students from IIIT and Krea University, attended the temple.
On Friday evening, Vedic scholars conducted various rituals, such as Sankalpam, Kalasha puja, Punyah vachanam, and Veda paaraayanam. Saturday early morning, special prayers were offered to the Lord, followed by Vishnu Sahasranaama chanting, Ganapati Homam, Navagraha Homam, Sudarshana Homam, and a few other rituals.
Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City performed the Homam and took part in the pooja. As part of the celebrations that began on October 19 Thursday, a week-long Srimad Bhaagavata paaraayanam was also organised, with members of the Bhaagavata Bhakta Samajam reciting the verses.
Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy expressed happiness for the successful culmination of the temple annual celebrations with the active participation of the public from neighbouring villages. He called upon the surrounding villagers to visit the temple and have blessings of the Lord.
In addition to Sri City employees, a large number of people from surrounding villages, including Aruru, Aruru Kandriga, Mallavaripalem West, and other villages, participated in the ceremony. All the devotees received teertha prasadam and anna prasadam. Devotees expressed their happiness at having the opportunity to see the Lord and take part in various religious rituals.
