Jagriti Yatra Delegates Visit Sri City
Commend Its Inclusive, Sustainable Industrial Ecosystem
Over 525 delegates from the Jagriti Yatra—a flagship initiative promoting youth entrepreneurship and nation-building—visited Sri City as part of their 8,000-km nationwide journey. The Yatra aims to ignite entrepreneurial thinking among young change-makers by connecting them with India’s leading business and social innovators. Mrs. Nireesha Sannareddy, Director, CSR extended a warm welcome and gave a briefing on the integrated business hub.
During their visit, the delegates witnessed Sri City’s world-class industrial infrastructure and visited in batches some of the factories, including Daikin, Blue Star, Lavazza, Epack, Pepsico, Amber, Rockworth, Bergen Pipe-supports, ALF, RSB Transmission, MMD, Brakes India, and Daiki Aluminium. They were impressed by the scale, diversity, and employment-generating potential of Sri City’s inclusive and sustainable ecosystem.
Mr. Ashutosh Kumar, CEO of Jagriti Yatra, expressed gratitude to the Sri City management for their warm hospitality and continued support. He remarked, “Sri City stands out as a model of integrated industrial development, offering unparalleled opportunities for entrepreneurship and investment. Since our first visit in 2016, it has consistently inspired our yatris.”
Later in the evening, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City and acknowledged by the Yatra organisers as a role model, will address the participants, offering insights into the vision, challenges, and milestones that shaped Sri City’s journey into a world-class manufacturing hub.
This is their seventh engagement with Sri City. Since its inception in 2008, the initiative has impacted over 8,000 young Indians, translating ideas into ventures addressing the nation’s key developmental challenges.
