Make Reels.. Stay Active on Instagram: PM Modi’s Instructions to Ministers

BJP, which is already strong on social media, is planning to become even stronger. In the wake of the NEET paper leak, massive protests have been taking place near Jantar Mantar for the past few days, along with incidents of violence. The Central Government strongly believes that all of this is happening centered around social media. Tensions near Jantar Mantar are escalating further due to the creation of fake news and sharing of misinformation on social media.

The Modi government is also making efforts to find a complete solution to this. PM Modi himself brought up this issue during the Cabinet meeting held on Friday under his chairmanship. Prime Minister Modi stated that Union Ministers should be active on platforms like Instagram to reach out to the youth more effectively.

PM Modi asked the ministers how many of them were active on Instagram. He said that currently, youth in the country are spending most of their time on social media. Therefore, it is learned that he suggested the government should try to get closer to the youth through social media platforms.

National media reports revealed that the Prime Minister told the ministers that merely posting details related to government activities on social media is not enough. The PM suggested being in direct contact with the youth on social media. Modi advised them to regularly post creative content like Reels that connects them closer to the youth.
