TANA: CPR and AED Certification Program Held in New York
New York: The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) New York Team reached a significant milestone in community welfare by successfully hosting a CPR and AED Certification Training Program at the AsaMai Hindu Temple. Aimed at equipping the community with essential life-saving skills, the initiative saw a participation of 30 individuals who underwent professional, hands-on training. Upon successful completion of the examination, all participants were awarded a two-year certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
The program was executed under the leadership of TANA President Naren Kodali and supervised by TANA Health Services Coordinator Madhuri Yeluri. TANA Treasurer Raja Kasukurthi provided essential support, while TANA New York Regional Coordinator Srinivas Bharthavarapu ensured the seamless execution of the event.

The success of the event was a result of the collaborative efforts of several key coordinators and team members:
Program Coordinators: Prasad Koyi, Sucharitha Ananthaneni, Rajitha Kalluri, Jitendra Yarlagadda, Dileep Musunuru, and Srinivas Nadella.
TANA NY Team Support: Rajesh Kadiyala, Kaleem Mohammed, and Pradeep Araveti.
The TANA NY Team also highlighted the invaluable contribution of young volunteers whose energy and dedication were instrumental to the program: Ashritha Koyi, Saran Sai Bharthavarapu, Geethika Challa, Vishnu Sai Ashrith Rachakunta, Sudheeksha Musunuru, Suhas Musunuru, and Samanvitha Minnekanti.
The management of Xavier University School of Medicine was also recognized for their critical support in making the training program a reality.

Community Unity and Future Vision
The event drew praise from local leaders, including TLCA President Sumanth Ramsetti and NYTTA President Ravindra Kodela, who commended TANA for its focus on practical community service. Their presence underscored the unity among Telugu organizations in the region.
Reflecting on the mission of the organization, Srinivas Bharthavarapu stated that under the motto Service to the Community, the TANA New York Team remains committed to launching more such impactful programs to support and safeguard the community in the coming months.
