The new film titled “Nawab Cafe” is set to release on February 20
We made the film with sincerity and it will connect with everyone: Hero Shiva Kandukuri
Shiva Kandukuri, Rajeev Kanakala, and Teju Ashwini play the lead roles in “Nawab Cafe”, produced under the Harshika Productions banner by Radha V Papudippu. The film is directed by Pramod Harsha and is scheduled to release on February 20. In this context, the team organized a grand press meet to interact with the media.
Hero Shiva Kandukuri said, “We began our journey with the title ‘Chai Wala’. We worked very hard to bring ‘Chai Wala’ to the audience. While respecting the censor rules and guidelines, we decided to change our title to ‘Nawab Cafe’. When Pramod first narrated this story to me, he had already considered the title ‘Nawab Cafe’. Even in my phone, Pramod’s name is saved under that title. Now, destiny has made it happen that we could officially go with ‘Nawab Cafe’. This title truly reflects the story and the soul of our film.
Even though we had to change the title and faced some censor issues, our producer Venkat never stepped back or compromised. The whole team decided to promote the film under the new title ‘Nawab Cafe’. We made this movie with utmost honesty and genuineness. I’m confident it will connect with everyone. After watching the film, people will definitely call their fathers to share their feelings. We are coming to the audience on February 20 with the new title, ‘Nawab Cafe’. I thank the media and the audience for supporting us so far.”
Producer Venkat said, “No one officially told us to change the title. I went to Mumbai and spoke to the censor team. They said the title ‘Chai Vala’ cannot be used. After that, we considered many options, but we finally decided to fix ‘Nawab Cafe’ as our working title. I hope the audience supports our title ‘Nawab Cafe’ as well. I also hope the media continues to support us like this.”
Director Pramod Harsha said, “We changed the title from ‘Chai Wala’ for certain reasons. Following the guidelines and rules of the censor board, we chose a new title. The story is based on incidents I have seen and experienced. I request the media to take our title ‘Nawab Cafe’ to the audience.”
Heroine Teju Ashwini said, “Regardless of the title, if the content is good and the film is enjoyable, the audience will support it. This is my first film, and I hope everyone embraces ‘Nawab Cafe’. It feels as if God is testing us to bring out a good product. Our film is coming on February 20, and I hope the media and audience will continue to support us.”
