TAL National Badminton Tournament 2024

Telugu Association of London (TAL) have successfully organised “TAL National Badminton Championship 2024” on Saturday 16th March 2024 & 6^th April 2024 at Osterly Sports & Athletics Centre, Isleworth, London (West).

Telugu players from London and surrounding counties came to witness the tournament. Overall 250+ players have participated in various categories including Men’s Doubles, Men’s 40+ Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Women’s 35+ Doubles and Kids Under 16’s.

Renowned Telugu actor and comedian Ali graced the occasion and distributed trophies to the winners and runners up. Speaking on the event, he praised the high quality of the participants and the efforts put in by TAL to organise bringing all the masses together.

Mr. Ravi Sabba (Chairman) and Mr. Kiran Kappeta (Vice-chairman) thanked Ali and the coordinators for Badminton 2024 – Sudhakar Gubbala (TAL Core team), Balaji Callur (TAL Core team), Anil Reddy (TAL Core team), Rajesh Veeramachaneni, Rajesh Toleti (TAL ex-Vice chairman/Treasurer), Venkat Neela (Trustee – Fundraising), Anil Ananthula (Trustee – Membership & Admin), Roy Bopanna (IT in-charge) along with all the volunteers and participants who made the event a grand success.
