New Jersey, July 27 —In a landmark achievement for the South Asian community, the South Asian Coalition for Jack Ciattarelli hosted a powerful and elegant fundraiser on Sunday evening that not only brought together top leaders and volunteers across New Jersey, but also raised over $100,000 — an extraordinary feat that signifies the growing influence of South Asians in state politics.

The event began with a warm welcome by Dharmesh Patel, Executive Director of the South Asian Coalition, who invited Governor Jack Ciattarelli, Chairman of the South Asian Coalition – Sridhar Chillara, and Host Committee & Executive Advisor Mahender Musuku to the stage to begin the evening. His opening remarks set the tone for a night of unity, vision, and celebration.

Sridhar Chillara, Chairman of the South Asian Coalition, then led the program with a powerful and heartfelt address. He extended his deepest gratitude to Mahender Musuku, who generously hosted the event at his beautiful residence and played a vital role in creating a welcoming setting for this historic night. After recognizing the host committee members, Sridhar welcomed Governor Jack with admiration and purpose.

“Jack is not only campaigning — he’s such a hard worker, traveling the entire state tirelessly every day, connecting with people, understanding their concerns, caring about them and their problems, and shaping his policies for better governance,” Sridhar said.

“To fix our broken state, we need a good CEO. Jack is a CPA, an MBA, and a proven CEO. New Jersey needs someone like Jack to lead and fix the system — and Jack is the answer,” he emphasized.

“He can address so many frustrations people are feeling — from lowering property taxes and making our state affordable, to improving safety, education, and supporting small businesses.”

The evening was filled with energy, purpose, and pride. Governor Jack Ciattarelli engaged in private networking before stepping up to deliver an inspiring speech outlining his vision for New Jersey — to strong cheers from the crowd.

During Jacks speech, “The South Asian community plays an incredibly important role in the future of our state,” Jack said.

He acknowledged that even a few thousand converted votes from this community could define the election.

Jack emphasized property tax reform, eliminating sanctuary cities, growing small businesses, restoring law and order, and making New Jersey a business-friendly environment with fewer regulations. He also highlighted the burden of bureaucracy, referring to a real-time concern raised by an attendee, and cited the DEP as an example of areas needing reform.

The biggest highlight of the night came when Governor running Jack made a historic declaration, stating:

“This particular South Asian Coalition is the one and only official coalition — and I emphasize, official — the first ever in New Jersey.”

The crowd erupted in celebration — especially the South Asian Coalition leadership team, who embraced this rare and prestigious recognition. The moment was marked with visible joy and pride, as leaders acknowledged that this status elevates them as the one and only premier South Asian coalition for Jacks campaign in New Jersey. The declaration, witnessed by NJGOP Executive Director Kate Gibbs and other senior leaders, formally solidified their place in New Jersey political history.

Special appreciation was given to the Host Committee members, whose unwavering support made the evening a success:
Sridhar Chillara, Mahender Musuku, Thomas Allen, Niranjan Reddy, Rathnakar Patlola, Yuva Gkpathm , Subrahmanyam Osuru, Bala Shan, Vinay Mahajan, Dinesh Jaiswal, Srinivas Gattu, Sunitha Krosuri, Ram Associates, Anna Reddy, Subramaniam Seetha Raman, Charudatta Khadakban,
Madhav Srigiriraju, Venu Moola, Radha Nallamalla, Jagan Vinayagam, Praveen Andapally along with many other leadership team members including advisors, county and township directors, and grassroots teams who were present.

Following Governor Jack’s remarks, Mahender Musuku addressed the gathering with heartfelt appreciation.

“This event is more than just fundraising — it’s about momentum, unity, and belief in better leadership,” he said.

He proudly announced, “We have officially crossed $100,000 tonight,” and challenged the coalition with a bold mission:

“Let’s now aim to deliver 100,000 South Asian votes for Jack Ciattarelli across New Jersey. That’s how we make history.”

He concluded with the energetic slogan:

“We rock, and they shock.”

The vote of thanks was delivered by Subramanyam Osuru, the Coalition’s IT and Mercer County Outreach Co-Director, who said:

“Each of you here made this success possible. From planning to execution — this was a team effort fueled by dedication and belief.”

He extended special thanks to all attendees, the media, and vendors who supported this gracious event.

The evening showcased vibrant participation from the Indian coalition include its sub-groups the Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Telugu coalitions, symbolizing unity and diversity within the broader South Asian community.

Chairman Sridhar Chillara concluded the evening with a motivating call to action:

“We now enter the most critical 100 days. Every single day matters. Let’s go to every home, every temple, every neighborhood, and every WhatsApp group. Most importantly, let’s organize backyard meetings — big or small — and rich community events to spread the word.

Let’s bring our community to the polls, and educate them about why Jack is the need of the hour for New Jersey.

Together — we will make Jack our next Governor.”
