LATA 10th Year Anniversary Convention on July 15, 2023

WOW!! WoW!! It’s already been 10 years! What an amazing milestone. During this day and age, starting a nonprofit organization and successfully running it for 10 years, is not an easy feat.

It felt like yesterday when all the like-minded volunteers wanted to start an organization named LATA and the rest is history. LATA’s main focused theme as highlighted in the logo are తెలుగు భాష , సమాజ సేవ , యువత భవిత. LATA is founded by volunteers and is to date driven by volunteers. Even the office bearers are volunteers with specific tasks. LATA believes that the audience comes for entertainment and performers are coming to entertain the audience, LATA provides the stage for 100% entertainment without interruption. When the audience gives their valuable time, it’s in our culture as Telugu to feed the guests అతిధి దేవోభవ!!!

LATA in this decade made tremendous contributions to the LA metro area, like a day-long Sankranthi Mela (the first of its kind in the USA), and continued professional development of the members (QA, PMP, AWS, Scrum). sports Mini Olympics (8 sports, every weekend for a couple of months in all locations), cultural activities with a theme, by doing all these LATA re-defined how the food be served, the programs be conducted, and how humble and helpful the volunteers could be.

Having done such amazing and groundbreaking work for 10 years, LATA set its bar too high for its 10th anniversary, LATA EC, BoD, and a team of dedicated volunteers are working behind the scenes to bring one of its kind of events to the LA metro.

With all the LATA programs our members, audience, and performers are in the middle of our planning and entertainment.
