Telugu Cinema Shines at IIFTC Awards 2026: ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Visvam’ Bag Top Honours

Mumbai: The Telugu film industry’s global footprint was celebrated at the prestigious IIFTC Tourism Impact Awards 2026 in Mumbai. Two of Tollywood’s major productions—Dil Raju’s magnum opus ‘Game Changer’ and Venu Donepudi’s action-entertainer ‘Visvam’—were recognised for their excellence in global location storytelling.

Accepting the award for Visvam, which was lauded for its stunning sequences shot in Italy, producer Venu Donepudi said, “IIFTC is a fantastic platform that connects Indian cinema with the world. I’ve always believed that a location is as important as a lead actor in a film; it is a character in itself. I am grateful for the recognition of our work in Italy. As India connects with the global audience across genres, platforms like IIFTC create a win-win situation for both cinema and international tourism.”
