Award Presented by Superstar Aamir Khan as Filmmaker Teja Backs the AI Powerhouse Behind the Tech

In a landmark victory for India’s innovation ecosystem, Hyderabad-based Artificial Intelligence startup Nuronics has emerged as the #1 winner among more than 1,600 teams in the prestigious Create in India Anti-Piracy Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting at WAVES 2025 — the country’s largest media and entertainment technology summit.

The award was presented by Bollywood icon and social impact advocate Aamir Khan, further highlighting the critical importance of safeguarding creative content in the digital age. Just a day before the award ceremony, the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Create in India pavilion, where he acknowledged the power of homegrown innovation to address national challenges in media, security, and culture. This innovation isn’t limited to India — it has the potential to help global industries like Hollywood as well, by offering a scalable, AI-powered solution to content piracy. It reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Made in India for the World’ in both spirit and execution.

At the heart of Nuronics’ win is its breakthrough platform, NuroTrace™ — an AI-powered content security system that can detect, trace, and respond to piracy across cinema, OTT, music, live relay, and digital platforms in real time. Built entirely in India using machine learning, entropy modeling, and intelligent signal processing, NuroTrace™ offers a new paradigm in content protection — one that doesn’t just hide a watermark, but invisibly embeds ownership and traceability into the media itself.

This innovation comes at a time when India’s media and entertainment industry faces annual piracy losses exceeding $1.2 Billion. With the explosive rise of digital content distribution, the need for intelligent, scalable, and sovereign anti-piracy solutions is more urgent than ever.

Taking personal interest in this technological leap is renowned filmmaker Teja, known for his bold cinematic vision and commitment to creator rights. His company, Tezaract, has partnered with Nuronics to support the development and scaling of this technology. Teja has long championed the “Create in India” narrative — and in Nuronics, he saw a company capable of turning that vision into infrastructure.

“Piracy kills creativity at its roots,” said Teja. “Nuronics represents what’s possible when AI meets purpose. We supported this technology because creators deserve more than takedown tools — they deserve protection at the frame level, from day zero.”

Founded by Viplav Valluri and Dr. Ramana A V, Nuronics is a next-generation Artificial Intelligence company dedicated to building sovereign, secure, and scalable AI stacks — completely “Made in India for the World.” With previous national innovation wins already under its belt, Nuronics is now setting the bar for content security in a digital-first future.

As Nuronics and Tezaract bring their forces together, the message is clear: India is not just a creator of content — it is ready to lead the world in protecting it intelligently. With NuroTrace™ and a mission-driven alliance behind it, Nuronics is turning the page on piracy and writing a new chapter in India’s media-tech dominance.
