Nithiin’s romantic blockbuster Ishq re-release is a huge success everywhere

Romantic Blockbuster Ishq, starring Nithiin, is considered one of the best in his career and continues to be loved by the Telugu audience. Released on February 24, 2012, the subtle love story quickly became a blockbuster and gained widespread popularity among cinephiles due to its breezy narrative about love. The film’s success is also attributed to the captivating chemistry between the lead pair, Nithiin and Nithya Menon, who portray Rahul and Priya.

The re-release of Ishq yesterday was met with immense success, with over 65 plus housefull shows across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bangalore. This remarkable achievement is even more impressive given the film's competition with numerous new releases. Audiences flocked to theatres to celebrate the fun moments, the beautiful love story, and Anup Rubens’ chart-topping songs, creating a frenzy and excitement that’s next level.

To make the re-release even more special, Nithiin, Vikram K Kumar, Sudhakar Reddy, and Anup Rubens visited the Sudarshan 35MM theater, where they enjoyed the film alongside movie lovers. Nithiin and Anup Rubens also celebrated by dancing to one of the songs with the audience. The film's tickets are filling fast and packed theaters everywhere today, as the Telugu audience once again celebrated this romantic blockbuster on the big screen. Ishq, written and directed by Vikram K Kumar, tells the story of Rahul (Nithiin) and Priya (Nithya Menen), who meet by chance at an airport and fall in love. However, Priya’s brother (Ajay) opposes their relationship due to his past issues with Rahul. The plot centers around how the couple convinces him. The film was especially appreciated for its comedic moments and its chartbuster songs composed by Anup Rubens. The technical crew includes cinematography by PC Sreeram and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Meanwhile, Nithiin is preparing for the release of Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula, on December 20. He is also working on Thammudu, directed by Sriram Venu, which is set for a Maha Shivaratri release.
