Sri City based Mondelez donates ambulance to Sullurupeta Govt. Hospital

In a commendable display of corporate social responsibility (CSR), Mondelez India, located in Sri City and renowned for its iconic brands like Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo, and Bournvita, has generously contributed to the welfare of the community. The company proudly presented an ambulance (Type C) fully equipped with essential life support facilities, valued at Rs. 30 lakhs, to the Community Health Centre in Sullurupeta.

The official handover ceremony took place at the office of the District Medical & Health Officer (DM&HO), where Mr. Amit Jain, the Plant Director of Mondelez, formally handed over the key of the ambulance to Dr. Srihari, DM&HO. Mr. Amit Jain affirmed the company's commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in the region as a component of their corporate social responsibility endeavours.

Dr. Srihari, while expressing gratitude to Mondelez India for their generous donation, emphasised the importance of the ambulance in serving the community during emergencies. 

Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City, lauded Mondelez's commitment to societal well-being through CSR initiatives. "Empowering communities for inclusive growth is indeed commendable. The provision of ambulance services by Mondelez will undoubtedly enhance the sense of security among residents in the Sullurupeta area," he remarked.

Senior executives from the Mondelez plant, including Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, Shanmuga Ponnusamy, and Mr. Ramachandra Reddy, General Manager of Sri City, attended the ceremony.
