Hiroshima Prefecture (State Government) Vice Governor welcomes CM Revanth Reddy

Talks cover wide range of collaboration, cooperation
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana led a delegation including Hon’ble Minister for Industries and IT and officials on Tuesday here to meet Vice Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture (state government).
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended warm greetings and appreciated the hospitality of the Hiroshima Prefectural Government, acknowledging the city’s global leadership in peace, resilience, and technological advancement. The Chief Minister also affirmed Telangana’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and peace.
Speaking about the possibilities of collaboration, Minister D. Sridhar Babu gave an extensive overview of the areas where the two states could work together.
These include:
1. Clean Technology and Waste to Energy
2. Exploring joint projects in municipal waste processing, sewage treatment and renewable energy
3. Urban Innovation and Infrastructure
4. Inviting Hiroshima’s expertise in disaster resilient design, underground metro engineering and smart city solutions for Hyderabad
5. Industrial Cooperation
6. Proposing a “Hiroshima Telangana Automotive & Mobility Corridor” for EVs, electronics and advanced manufacturing.
7. Education and Cultural Exchange programs
8. Planning academic linkages and student research exchanges between Hiroshima Institute of Technology and premier Telangana universities.
9. Culture, Peace and Tourism
10. Collaborating on peace park initiatives, cultural exhibitions and Buddhist heritage
