Sri City units focus on enhancing the educational infrastructure of Govt Institutions in the region

While THK India donated Desktop Computers and podiums to Vikrama Simhapuri University, Hunter Douglas provided Smart Display Boards and colour printers to schools and colleges
THK India and Hunter Douglas India, both based in Sri City, donated desktop computers, podiums, colour printers, and Smart Display Boards to government educational institutions in the region as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity in an effort to improve the provision of high-quality education.
In a ceremony held on Friday at the Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU), Nellore, the THK India company handed 30 desktop computers and 25 podiums, costing about Rs. 25 lakhs. Inaugurating the computer lab Mr. Makoto Sado, Dy. Managing Director said that their company was very keen to improve the infrastructure of the educational institutions and accordingly investing CSR funds for the cause.
Thanking the THK India for for the generous donation made, Prof. G.M. Sundaravalli, Vice Chancellor, VSU said,” We wish to convey our sincere appreciation for the tangible resources you have provided and the profound impact your philanthropic efforts have had on our institution. These invaluable resources find immediate utility for the University, benefiting our students and faculty in pursuing academic excellence. Furthermore, we thank Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City for his pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating this noteworthy CSR initiative. Sri City’s commitment to bridging the gap between corporate entities and educational institutions is commendable and aligns perfectly with our university’s mission to provide quality education to our students.“
The Government Junior Colleges in Sullurpet and Satyavedu, the ZP High Schools (both boys & girls) in Irugulam, Madanapalem, Satyavedu and Tada received interactive display boards from Hunter Douglas India a few days ago. Towards this project, the company spent Rs. 6.25 lakhs. Mr. Tamilazhagan, Factory Head of Hunter Douglas, presented these gadgets to the Principals/Head Masters of the respective educational institutions.
