Sri City based IMOP donates ambulance to IALA

As a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Sri City based India Metal One Steel Plate Processing (IMOP) Private Limited, a Japanese major in processing steel plates, donated an ambulance, worth Rs.29 lakhs to the Sri City Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA), in a function held in Sri City on Tuesday. Mr. Taizo Iwami, Managing Director of the company handed over the key of ambu-lance to Mr. Chandrasekhar, Zonal Manager, Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC).
Mr. Taizo Iwami stated, “As recommended by Sri City Foundation, we took up the project as part of our CSR activity to shoulder the task of strengthening further the health infrastructure in the industrial area.”
Thanking IMOP for the donation Mr. Chandrasekhar said that the ambulance would be put to use for serving the Sri City community. “We thank the IMOP authorities and Sri City Foundation for their kind gesture, and the services of new ambulance, which is furnished with latest facilities, can be availed by the community for any emergency needs.”
IALA, which has the municipal-like powers to collect property taxes, develop facilities and extend services in Sri City, will be the custodian of the ambulance and operate it under the supervision of Sri City Security wing.
Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Vice President (Customer Relations), Sri City, Mr. Y. Ramesh, Head, Security & Vigilance and Mr. Surendra Kumar, Manager, Sri City Foundation were present on the occasion.
