Sri City Attracts ₹31,450 Cr Investments at Partnership Summit 2025
On the second day of the Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, Hon’ble Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually inaugurated five new manufacturing units, over saw 12 new companies exchanging of MoUs with Sri City, and handed over GOs to senior representatives of Daikin, Proterial (Metglas), and to Sri City for its Phase 2 expansion. In total, Sri City secured ₹31,450 crore in investments, with a projected 1.1 lakh jobs (70,600 direct and 39,400 indirect).
Industries Minister T.G. Bharath, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, Industry Secretary Dr. N. Yuvaraj, and other dignitaries were present.
Welcoming the Chief Minister, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City, said, “Within just one year of the Chief Minister’s previous visit, we are celebrating multiple inaugurations, MoUs, and GO exchanges. We are truly fortunate to have dynamic leadership and a team of energetic ministers and officers.”
Terming Sri City a “Model of Industrial Excellence,” the Chief Minister praised its rapid transformation into one of India’s finest industrial townships. “If anyone wants to understand what a successful industrial city looks like, Sri City is the best example. In less than two decades, this remarkable ecosystem has taken shape,” he said.
He noted that global majors such as Cadbury, Kellogg’s, and LG are already operating in Sri City and highlighted the signing of MoUs, inauguration of companies and awarding GOs, all representing over ₹31,450 crore in investments and generating 1,10,000+ direct and indirect jobs.
Challenging Sri City to expand its global footprint, he said, “When I asked Dr. Sannareddy how many countries are present here, he said 31. I told him clearly—we must reach at least 50 countries.”
The Chief Minister announced that the Government has sanctioned 2,500 additional acres to fuel Sri City’s next phase of growth and support the targets of 50 countries, 500 industries, and 1.5 lakh jobs. He also stressed the need for an airstrip to enhance global connectivity and called for net-zero, future-ready industrial systems powered by renewable energy, sustainable water management, and shared utilities.
He concluded by applauding Sri City’s strong progress and acknowledging Dr. Sannareddy’s dedicated leadership.
Thanking the Chief Minister, Dr. Sannareddy said, “With your able guidance, we will achieve your mandate of making Sri City home to 50 countries within the next two years.”
With these landmark commitments, Sri City further cements its position as a premier industrial hub, powering Andhra Pradesh’s emergence as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
