The senior representatives of Sri City Japanese industries and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) had a meeting with AP Government, which was chaired by Dr. Srijana Gummalla, IAS, Director of Industries,Vice Chairman & Managing Director, APIIC, CEO APEDB, and cochaired by Mr. B. Masayuki Taga, Consul General of Japan. Mr.Prasad Savarapu ,Vice President and Mr.Prakash ,Additional Vice President, APEDB also were present.

Hailing the investor friendly policies of AP Government, Mr. Makoto Sato, Vice Chairman,  Aasociation of Sri City Japanese Industries brought some of the issues that are being faced by the industries to the notice of the Chair. There was a long discussion on all the issues, and Dr. Srijana gave an assurance to address all the issues and find out possible solutions. She requested the Consul General and the Representatives of JETRO to explore the possibility of investing more in AP.

Senior executives of various Sri City Japanese Industries, including Isuzu Motors,  Unicharm, Kobelco Construction Equipment, Metal One Steel Plate Processing, Aisan Auto Parts, Toray Industries, Piolax, Miyama Electric, Head, MUFG Bank, and Senior representatives of  Sri City took part in the meeting.
