Coalition government committed to strengthen rural economy:CM

Udayagiri:Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the coalition government was committed to build poverty-free villages, reducing economic inequalities and strengthening the rural economy. He alleged that certain groups were attempting to obstruct the government’s development initiatives and warned that such attempts would not be tolerated.
Addressing a public meeting at Ramapuram village in Varikuntapadu mandal of Udayagiri constituency as part of the Palle Panduga 3.0 programme, the Chief Minister criticised the previous government for its policies and highlighted the alleged acts of destruction and conspiracies. He urged people to recognise the good work being done by the present government while remaining alert to attempts to obstruct development. The Chief Minister said that while the coalition government was working to restore dignity and provide rights to the poor, some others were resorting to destruction and violence.
The Chief Minister accused the previous government of misleading people over the Veligonda project, alleging that it had inaugurated the project even though works worth Rs 4,000 crore were still pending.He assured people that Veligonda Phase II would also be completed to provide irrigation water to Udayagiri constituency and transform Markapuram district into a prosperous agricultural region.
Calling for a clear distinction between governance that transforms people’s lives and politics that promotes criminalisation, Chandrababu Naidu said the coalition government was taking steps to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare reached every village and every family in the state.The Chief Minister appealed to the people to support the coalition government in its efforts to accelerate development and expand welfare.
