Apsrtc Managing Director Visits Sri City

Mr. Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, IPS, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) visited Sri City on Wednesday. Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City extended warm welcome and briefed him on the salient features of the business city. Following the briefing session the he went round the campus.

During the briefing, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy informed the APSRTC MD that employees, students, and the general public experience difficulties owing to the lack of public transportation linking nearby towns and villages. He suggested that the possibility of implementing RTC bus services between Satyavedu and Sri City, Sullurupeta and Sri City, Sri Kalahasti and Sri City, and Tada and Sri City be examined, encompassing major regions in the industrial hub and accommodating general shift times be explored.  He presented a representation outlining the routes and times that are most convenient for most commuters. APSRTC MD responded that he would look into the matter and take appropriate action.

Mr. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao was accompanied by Mr. K.S. Bramhananda Reddy,  Executive Director, VIjayawada, Regional Manager and Divisional Manager, Tirupati, and Depot Managers of Sri Kalahasti, Sullurupeta and Satyavedu.
