2024 TAGKC Rangoli, Games & Art competitions for Kids – 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

TAGKC would like to invite our members and others in our community, along with their families, to join us for a fun-filled Saturday afternoon, Jan 06th 2024 where TAGKC will be offering the food for sale during the event in the temple followed by fun-filled games for everyone.

• Kids Art (2 Groups: 10 and below, 11 and above)
• Chess (2 Groups: 10 and below, 11 and above)

Rangoli

     1st prize – $100      2nd prize – $75      3rd prize – $50

Kids Art – Group 1 (10 & Below Age Groups)

Rules for Rangoli:

• This is open for all age groups combined.
• Maximum of 4 participants are allowed per team and participant fee 
• $10 per person is due before the competition starts. 
• The time duration for making muggu (rangoli) is 2 hrs. No extra time will be given. 
• One muggu (rangoli) per team is allowed and the area is limited to one round table of 6ft
• Rangoli materials like chalk powder, colors, etc will be provided by TAGKC. Participants have to bring any other decorative materials needed. 
• Judges will choose the best rangoli by design, theme, presentation and creativity. They reserve the rights on making the final decision. Three prizes will be awarded in this category.1st, 2nd and 3rd.
• Prizes will be awarded in the TAGKC Ugadi Vedukalu.
• Chess & Kid’s Art will have 2 winners (one per each age group)
• Registration desk for games will open at 2:00PM and all games will begin (in parallel) at 3:00PM – 8:00PM. 

*Please note that stencils/parmanent markers/pre-drawn traces/ rangoli tools are strictly not allowed*

 
Food:

• Food Sales starts from 4:00 – 6:00PM.

NOTE:

You can pay your 2024 TAGKC membership dues, renewals or new signups at Temple. This will avoid long lines on our UGADI event and will speed up the process of getting into the auditorium quickly and a chance to settle first before rest.
