Career Profile: A 2005-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, Sivan brings over two decades of high-level diplomatic experience to the position.
Previous Postings: He recently served as Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates from October 2023 to 2026, managing one of India’s largest diplomatic missions and serving over 3.5 million Indian expats through consular welfare, trade promotion, educational initiatives, and community engagement.
Prior Roles: His past key assignments include serving as First Secretary at the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Deputy Chief of Mission in Seoul, and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
