MATA: The Minnesota Area Telugu Association (MATA) has organized a community event titled “Bonalu & Vana Bojanalu,” scheduled for Sunday, July 19th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event will be held at the Sunnyside Picnic Area, located within the Hyland Lake Park Reserve at 10145 E Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN 55348.
Health and Wellness Support:
In conjunction with the festivities, Sewa health volunteers will be present to provide various health and wellness services to the attendees. These services are designed to support the community and include:
Clinical Screenings: Volunteers will offer blood pressure measurements and blood glucose testing.
Medical Guidance: Attendees can access nutritional and medical consultations with a physician.
Resource Access: The team will provide referrals to low-cost, culturally sensitive health services.
Safety and Extras: The initiative also includes the distribution of free masks and sanitizers, alongside various free give-aways.
