When Will There Be Clarity on Vishwambhara’s Release Date?

As Megastar Chiranjeevi celebrates his birthday today, fans and Telugu cinema audiences are in a festive mood. However, the lack of an update on the release date of his highly anticipated film Vishwambhara has left many fans disappointed.

The film’s OST, released today, has received a positive response, but there was no announcement regarding its theatrical release. The socio-fantasy project has already been delayed from its earlier schedule. Last year, on Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers clarified that the film would be postponed, with Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu arriving first.

However, even after a year, there is still no official clarity on when Vishwambhara will hit the screens. There is speculation that the makers are eyeing the Dussehra season, but no confirmation has been issued yet. With competition for the Dussehra window already heating up, locking the right release date has become crucial.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s next film Kaaka is already confirmed for a Sankranthi 2027 release, making the release planning for Vishwambhara even more important. The makers are expected to wrap up the pending shoot and post-production work, close the business deals and announce the release plan soon.

Directed by Vassishta and produced on a grand scale by UV Creations, Vishwambhara stars Trisha as the female lead, with MM Keeravani composing the music.
