“Vrusshabha” will mesmerize audiences: Producer Bunny Vas
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is starring in the prestigious film “Vrusshabha”. This high-budget film is set for a grand theatrical release on the 25th of this month through Geetha Film Distributors. The film is produced under the banners of Connekkt Media, Balaji Telefilms, and Abhishek S Vyas Studios by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta, with Vimal Lahoti as co-producer. Directed by Nandakishore, the film has been made simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. The pre-release event of “Vrusshabha” was held grandly today in Hyderabad.
Actor Balagam Sanjay said, “We completed the shooting of ‘Vrusshabha’ about a year ago, and the entire shoot took place in Mumbai. Acting alongside Mohanlal sir is something I can never forget. I am very happy that he has received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. This film is very special to me, and I feel fortunate to be part of such a prestigious project. My fight sequences with Samarjit will be well recognized. The grandeur and CG work in this film will definitely impress the audience.”
Heroine Nayan Sarika said, “‘Vrusshabha’ is a very powerful film. You can never predict what will happen next. From the beginning to the end, the film keeps the audience completely engaged. The climax is truly mind-blowing. I am very happy to act alongside a legendary actor like Mohanlal sir. With this film, I am being introduced to the Malayalam industry. I never imagined that I would make my Malayalam debut with such a massive project. My character has strong importance, and not just mine – every character in the story is crucial. Director Nandakishore has written the story that way. I feel proud to act under banners like Connekkt Media, Balaji Telefilms, and SV Studios. Geetha Arts is my home banner. This banner gave me my first hit with ‘Aay’, and now ‘Vrushabha’ is releasing through the same banner. I strongly believe this film will be another success in my career. Please watch our film in theatres on the 25th.”
Actor Ali said, “Every film directed by Nandakishore in Kannada has been a hit. Films like Pogaru and Current Theega are his. He worked very hard to make this film, and he is a director without any arrogance. When a Malayalam superstar like Mohanlal is acting in the film and a superstar Telugu producer like Allu Aravind is releasing it, the project becomes even more special. Bunny Vas also has a lucky hand. Hero Samarjit is a very talented actor. I have earlier worked on three films with Balaji Telefilms’ Jeetendra garu, including ‘Toofan’, and now I am part of this film as well. I wish the entire team all the best and hope ‘Vrusshabha’, releasing on the 25th, becomes a big success.”
Hero Samarjit Lankesh said, “‘Vrusshabha’ is one of the biggest action films, and it also has strong emotional content revolving around love and the father-son relationship. Initially, I was nervous while acting with Mohanlal sir, but he encouraged me and helped me perform comfortably. I am very happy to be introduced to Telugu audiences through this film. Working with Ali garu on set was a lot of fun, and he used to bring very good biryani. Our film is releasing through Geetha Arts, and I would like to thank Allu Aravind garu and Bunny Vas garu. I request everyone to watch and support our film in theatres on the 25th.”
Producer and Distributor Bunny Vas said, “The makers have invested a huge budget into ‘Vrusshabha’, and the visuals are extremely grand. From the King episode onwards, the film moves to another level. The fight sequences and emotional content are very strong. Sam CS has given excellent music. I have watched nearly 45 minutes of footage, and Samarjit has a lot of ease as an actor. I believe he will become a big star in Kannada cinema. After ‘Aay’ and ‘KA’, I hope Nayan achieves a hat-trick success with ‘Vrushabha’. Mohanlal sir is someone we all deeply respect, and we are very happy that he gave us the opportunity to release this film. The movie features actors from multiple languages. Director Nandakishore is a very talented technician, and you will see how grand his making is in this film. On the 25th, seven films are releasing, and all of them have created good buzz. From the 25th until the Sankranti holidays, it is a great season for the film industry. I wish all the films success. ‘Vrusshabha’ was originally planned for release two months ago, but it got postponed due to unavoidable reasons. This is not a dubbed film; it has been made as a pan-India project in all languages, including Telugu, where we also shot the film. As per prior agreements, we had to release the film amidst this competition. While small films are being released with a Rs. 99 ticket price, we cannot do that for a film starring a legend like Mohanlal.”
