Ranabaali set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 16
The much-awaited teaser of Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda, has finally been unveiled, and it delivers a goosebumps-inducing glimpse into the actor’s most intense transformation yet. Packed with powerful visuals, brutal action, and emotional depth, the teaser showcases Vijay Deverakonda in a never-before-seen avatar as the fearless warrior Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali.
The teaser opens with the horrific famine that devastated the Madras Presidency under British rule. Acting under the orders of the ruthless Sir Theodore Hector, British officers loot every grain grown on Indian soil, turning the land of abundance into a region of hunger and suffering. Those who beg for food are mercilessly killed, highlighting the unimaginable brutality of the colonial regime.
Ranabaali rises against this oppression with unmatched courage and fury. Wielding his sword with deadly precision, he takes on Sir Theodore Hector and the British forces in a violent battle for justice. Determined that not a single grain leaves his land, Ranabaali vows to protect his people from starvation and tyranny.
One of the biggest highlights of the teaser is Vijay Deverakonda’s powerful dialogue introducing himself as “Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali,” a moment that is already creating goosebumps among fans. Another impactful dialogue, where he vows that not even a single grain will cross his village boundary while he stands guard, further establishes the character’s fearless spirit. The teaser ends with a mysterious hand emerging from a cave to lift a clay pot containing a strange liquid, leaving audiences intrigued about the larger mystery surrounding the story.
With Ranabaali, director Rahul Sankrityan promises a memorable cinematic experience on a massive scale. The teaser impresses with world-class production values from Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, along with striking visuals, grand action blocks, and an emotionally charged narrative.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the film, while Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo appears in a crucial role as Sir Theodore Hector. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner and presented by T-Series, Ranabaali is based on real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878 during British rule in India. The pan-India period action epic is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on October 16, coinciding with the Vijayadashami festive season.
