Mahesh Babu’s Cult Classic Okkadu Set for Grand 4K Re-Release on June 26

Mahesh Babu’s iconic blockbuster Okkadu, produced by M.S. Raju under the Sumanth Art Productions banner and directed by Gunasekhar, is all set for a grand 4K re-release on June 26. Originally released in 2003, the film emerged as a trendsetting blockbuster and remains one of the most celebrated classics in Telugu cinema. Presented by Radha Madhavi Film Distributors, the film will be re-released across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other parts of India.

A milestone in the careers of both Mahesh Babu and Gunasekhar, Okkadu created a lasting impact with its gripping narrative, memorable performances, and powerful commercial appeal. Starring Bhumika Chawla as the female lead and Prakash Raj in a memorable antagonist role, the film also featured Mukesh Rishi, Telangana Shakuntala, Ajay, Geetha, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Rajan P.
