Venky Kudumula’s What Next Entertainments’ Itllu Arjuna- Finding Arjuna Vol.1
Star director Venky Kudumula steps into production with Itlu Arjuna, his first venture under What Next Entertainments, starring the New Guy in Town, Aniesh, with debut director Mahesh Uppala at the helm and Anaswara Rajan as the female lead. The film had already created a buzz with its title glimpse featuring a voiceover by Akkineni Nagarjuna, which was widely appreciated. On the occasion of Aniesh’s birth, a special poster and a video was released.
In the poster, Aniesh stands with a calm confidence- neatly groomed, a relaxed shirt over a grey tee, and floating white spheres around his hand. It’s symbolic of Arjun’s inner world- simple on the outside, swirling with unspoken storms within. He indeed looks charming here.
With the newly released video, the makers now shift the focus onto the actor behind the character. The video Finding Arjuna Vol.1 does more than introduce a character—it quietly showcases the dedication and mindset of lead actor Aniesh as he steps into a highly demanding role. Arjun, the central character, is mute—a role that depends entirely on expressions, body language, and emotional depth rather than dialogue. For a newcomer, this could have been daunting. What stands out, however, is how Aniesh embraced it not as a challenge but as an opportunity to stretch his abilities as an actor.
The video highlights how Aniesh impressed the team with his audition and, even after understanding the demanding nature of the role, approached it with eagerness. He then underwent a phase of preparation—listening closely to narrations, studying Arjun’s emotional arc, refining expressions, and internalizing the character before stepping onto the set.
Finding Arjuna Vol.1 doesn’t just present Aniesh as another debutant—it reflects his sincerity toward his craft and his commitment to proving himself through performance. The film features music by S. Thaman and cinematography by Raja Mahadevan.
Finding Arjuna Vol.1 ultimately underlines one key point – Aniesh didn’t just get cast as Arjun, he prepared himself to become Arjun.
