Varun Tej’s Korean Kanakaraju to Stream on Netflix

Varun Tej’s horror comedy Korean Kanakaraju is reportedly gearing up for its OTT premiere after completing its theatrical run. The film, which was released on August 7, received a moderate to positive response, with Varun Tej, Ritika Nayak and Sathya earning appreciation for their performances.

According to reports, Korean Kanakaraju will begin streaming on Netflix from September 4, 2026. The OTT version is also expected to be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. However, an official confirmation from Netflix or the makers is awaited.

Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and jointly produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, the film features music by Thaman. Ritika Nayak, Sathya, Srinivasa Avasarala and Muralidhar Goud play key roles. The film’s OTT release is now expected to take it to a wider audience.
