“The Theatrical Experience of Eesha Will Haunt You for a Long Time”: Actor Sri Vishnu
A horror film usually frightens audiences inside theatres. However, an event designed with a horror concept can also terrify those who attend it and leave them with the feeling of having watched a horror film. This was proved by the “Eesha Haunted Night” event held on Tuesday. The event was organised in Hyderabad as part of the pre-release celebrations of the film Eesha.
The film is being produced grandly by Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vas under the banners of Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25. Akhil Raj and Trigun are playing the lead roles in the film, with Hebba Patel as the female lead. Siri Hanumanthu, Babloo and Prithviraj are seen in other important roles. The film is being produced by Hema Venkateswara Rao under the HVR Productions banner, with senior producer KL Damodar Prasad presenting it. Directed by Srinivas Manne, the film is set to release on the 25th of this month. In this context, the Haunted Night and pre-release event of the film was organised.
King of Entertainment and actor Sri Vishnu attended the event as the chief guest. He launched the Big Ticket and signed on a “viewer’s consent form.”
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Vishnu said, “I personally like horror films. When I watch horror films with friends in a theatre, it feels thrilling. The horror film experience stays in the mind for a long time. The theatrical experience of the film Eesha will also haunt everyone for a long time. So, everyone should watch this film and get that experience. Director Srinivas Manne’s stories have novelty. Whenever I met him, he used to narrate many stories. This story will definitely have novelty along with good twists. I hope everyone who acted in this film gets good success. When a person with good taste like KL Damodar Prasad is presenting the film, expectations naturally rise. Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati are supporting the film with a talented team and proper planning. They encourage newcomers a lot and take good films to another level. I believe they will achieve another success with this film.”
KL Damodar Prasad said, “I only do films that have content. When good content and a good team come together, we bring out a good product. Taking the film to the people is another challenge. Now Bunny Vas and Vamsi Vasu have taken the responsibility of reaching the film to the audience and created a platform. I believe the film has reached people because of them. This is a horror film, and I am confident it will be liked by the audience. Ticket prices have also been kept affordable. I want audiences to watch and enjoy such a film in theatres. The director waited patiently after the story and made this film with strong content.”
Producer Vamsi Nandipati said, “Sri Vishnu is a lucky hand for us. He is like gold as a person, and we are happy he attended this function. For this film, the audience must sign a special consent form and step into the theatre ready to be scared. This film will definitely frighten the audience, deliver a meaningful message, and make them come out of the theatre with the feeling of having watched a good film. We are releasing the film with premieres from December 24, one day in advance, at just ₹99. This film will surely scare and entertain everyone.”
Bunny Vas said, “Vamsi Nandipati takes a film on his shoulders and reaches it to the people. He does anything necessary to take the film to the audience. He is taking care of everything for this film. While watching this film, it sends shivers down the spine. As a child, I did many things to find out whether ghosts exist or not. After watching this film, I sometimes feel scared and look back. That is how much this film haunts everyone. Horror film lovers will enjoy this film a lot. Audiences will scream in fear while watching it. The climax scenes will shock everyone. People will definitely be scared in theatres. Bring along a girlfriend who gets scared. Sri Vishnu is our lucky hand, and we are happy he attended the function. I wish this film gives a good break to everyone who acted in it. After Mithr Mandali, I thought of taking a break and spending time with my family, but Vamsi Nandipati did not let me stay idle and kept showing me films and making me do them.”
Hero Akhil Raj said, “I hope the audience who made Raju Weds Rambai a hit will also support this film in which I acted. I am eagerly waiting to watch this film in theatres. I am scared of horror films, yet I will watch this film in a theatre. Thanks to the director and producers for giving me such a good opportunity. It is a happy moment that another film of mine is coming to theatres after Raju Weds Rambai. I believe audiences will watch this film, feel scared, and get entertained by that emotion.”
Director Srinivas Manne said, “Sri Vishnu is a lucky hand, and I am happy he came to this function. I believe that after a film speaks, the director should speak. I thank everyone who helped bring this film up to the release stage. The inputs given by Vamsi and Vas were very useful in reaching the film to everyone. The corrections they suggested helped make the film one hundred per cent perfect.”
Hero Trigun said, “Through the story, director Srinivas Manne made me a hero. I never imagined that I would come this far or reach this level. I entered this film unexpectedly. My thanks to Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati for taking this film to the audience. I am grateful to Damodar Prasad and Venkat. Watching this film gives the feeling of watching an international horror film.”
Actors Siri Hanumanthu and Hebba Patel, producer Venkat, and others attended the event.
