Tharun Bhascker, S Originals & Suresh Productions Cult Sequel ENE Repeat Announced

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi was a sensational success that resonated with all sections, particularly with youth audiences. Over time, the film evolved into a cult classic, particularly after its re-release, which was met with immense enthusiasm. Known for its relatable characters, spontaneous humor, and slice-of-life storytelling, the movie garnered a loyal following. Now, much to the delight of fans, the highly anticipated sequel has been officially announced. Titled ENE Repeat, the project promises to bring back the same brand of madcap, youthful entertainment that made the original a runaway success. Most of the original cast and crew are returning, ensuring continuity and nostalgia.

The Beloved gang Vishwak Sen, Sai Sushanth Reddy, Abhinav Gomatam and Venkatesh Kakumanu from the first part is reuniting for the madness once again. The sequel is helmed by Tharun Bhascker, the creative force behind the original, and produced by D. Suresh Babu, Srujan Yarabolu, and Sandeep Nagireddy under the banners of S Originals and Suresh Productions.

The title announcement itself is a quirky treat. The film’s name, ENE Repeat, is revealed through a humorous and visually engaging poster. The title logo cleverly incorporates Telugu script, where the first and last letters of ENE appear in Telugu, with the last one flipped, adding a unique touch that reflects the film’s offbeat tone. The tagline, Elinaati Shani Ayyipoyindhi, Kanyaraasi Time Ochindi, hints at a fun and chaotic ride ahead.

The announcement poster sets the tone perfectly, featuring whimsical elements like a briefcase bursting open mid-air with clothes flying out, along with beer bottles, sunglasses, a flight ticket, and more, all floating high above Earth, suggesting a sky-high adventure filled with humor and surprises. It promises not just a continuation, but an escalation of the madness, doubling the fun and energy of its predecessor.

On the technical front, the sequel boasts a talented crew: Vivek Sagar returns to compose the music, maintaining the signature vibe of the series. AJ Aaron handles cinematography, while Raviteja Girijala is in charge of editing. Sowmithri N joins as the executive producer.
