Spirit After Animal Park: Sandeep Reddy Vanga–Ranbir Kapoor Reunion Likely in 2028?

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently focused on Spirit, his highly anticipated collaboration with Prabhas. The film is expected to resume shooting in October, with Vanga aiming to wrap up the project at the earliest and move on to his next commitment.

According to producer Pranay Reddy Vanga, Animal Park, the sequel to Ranbir Kapoor and Vanga’s blockbuster Animal, is expected to be the filmmaker’s next project after Spirit. Vanga is reportedly planning to begin work on the sequel around six months after Spirit hits the screens.

If the current timeline stays on track, Animal Park could go on floors by the end of 2027, opening up the possibility of a 2028 release. However, the makers are yet to announce an official release date.

The reunion of Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga has already generated significant anticipation, given the impact of Animal. Backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Animal Park is expected to be another ambitious project from Vanga, with further details about the cast, story and shooting schedule awaited.
