Sivakarthikeyan ‘Madharaasi’ Trailer & Audio Launch on Aug 24

After generating buzz with an action-packed teaser and the chart-topping first single Selavika, Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated action entertainer Madharaasi is all set for its next big reveal. The trailer and audio of the film will be launched on August 24, as officially confirmed by the makers. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Madharaasi marks a crucial comeback vehicle for the director, and showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a fierce, mass-heavy avatar.

The trailer poster hints at an intense narrative, featuring Sivakarthikeyan alongside Vidyut Jamwal, Biju Menon, and Vikranth with intensity in their faces. The film’s first single, Selavika, labelled as a love failure anthem, turned out to be a big hit.

Rukmini Vasanth plays the female lead, adding freshness to the commercial space with her strong screen presence. Backed by Sri Lakshmi Movies, the production is being mounted on a grand scale, promising both high-octane sequences and emotional depth. The film has cinematography by Sudeep Elamon.
