Shree Nandu ‘Psych Siddhartha’ Madly Humorous Teaser Unveiled
Young hero Shree Nandu gets the big backing of Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media for his upcoming flick Psych Siddhartha. The film is directed by Varun Reddy and jointly produced by Shree Nandu and Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi under the banners of Spirit Media and Nanduness Keep Rolling Pictures. Billed as an out-and-out youthful entertainer with Mad Max-style madness, Psych Siddhartha promises to deliver high-energy fun. The film features Yamini Bhaskar as the leading lady, while Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sakshi Atree, and Mounika play pivotal roles.
The makers started the promotional campaign by unveiling the film’s teaser, which introduces the eccentric world of the protagonist—a typical Hyderabad youngster who is hyperactive, unpredictable, and reacts like a psych to every little situation. The teaser opens with him on a chaotic car ride with his friend, venting his frustration over trivial issues. He calls himself a loser who has lost faith in finding success, setting the tone for a wild and humorous journey.
Director Varun Reddy has crafted a quirky, youth-driven story, presenting Shree Nandu’s character in a wildly entertaining manner. Sporting long, messy hair and a thick beard, Nandu’s rugged look and intense energy perfectly complement his role. From body language to dialogue delivery, he nails the Hyderabad slang and hyperactive persona with effortless flair. His candid outbursts and local slang-laden boothulu (filthy words) are sure to resonate with the youth audience.
The film boasts a young and talented technical crew. K. Prakash Reddy’s cinematography captures the film’s edgy tone, while Smaran Sai’s unique musical score elevates the fun quotient. Prateek Nuti handles the editing, and interestingly, Shree Nandu has also contributed to the additional screenplay, adding his personal touch to the narrative.
The teaser certainly generates strong buzz, setting the stage for Psych Siddhartha’s grand release on December 12th. The movie will be released through Asian Suresh Entertainments, with marketing handled by Rana’s Spirit Media.
