Salman Khan reportedly takes a major pay cut for SVC63
Salman Khan has reportedly agreed to a significant remuneration cut for his upcoming film SVC63, directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. The Bollywood superstar, who is usually said to charge over Rs.100 crore per film, is reportedly being paid around Rs.70 crore for the project. While there has been no official confirmation, industry reports suggest he may also receive a share in the film’s profits.
SVC63 marks Vamshi Paidipally’s Bollywood debut and is being mounted as a stylish action entertainer with Nayanthara as the female lead. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai on a grand scale under producer Dil Raju’s banner.
The project is considered an important film for Salman Khan after a series of underwhelming box-office performances. The makers are reportedly targeting an Eid release next year, with an official release date expected to be announced soon.
