Rana Daggubati as Ashwatthama in Jai Hanuman? Another Major Link in the PVCU

Prasanth Varma’s upcoming mythological epic Jai Hanuman is once again making headlines with an interesting industry buzz. According to reports, Rana Daggubati is likely to play the role of Ashwatthama, one of the immortal warriors from the Mahabharata. The character is said to play a crucial role in expanding the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) by connecting multiple mythological storylines.

Mounted on a much bigger scale than HanuMan, the film stars Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman, while Teja Sajja reprises his role from the original. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and T- Series, the project has reportedly spent significant time on pre productions, concept design, and world building.

For Rana, the film could mark a major comeback after several announced projects failed to materialize. While an official confirmation is still awaited, reports of him playing the powerful Ashwatthama have already generated strong buzz on social media.
