Proud to host Telugu Indian Idol on aha: Allu Aravind

The biggest Telugu singing show, Telugu Indian Idol Season 4, is now streaming successfully on aha OTT, delighting audiences with its talent and music. Starting from the 12th of this month, the performances of the Top 12 contestants can be watched every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM on Aha. This musical show features renowned music director Thaman and singers Karthik and Geetha Madhuri as judges. The show is hosted by Sreerama Chandra, with singer Sameera Bharadwaj joining as the co-host.
A special screening of Season 4 was held today, followed by a grand press meet. Speaking at the event, singer Sameera Bharadwaj said, “I’m truly happy to be given the opportunity to co-host a prestigious show like Telugu Indian Idol Season 4. I consider this a great honor. Every word I speak about this show comes straight from my heart. Thanks Allu Aravind garu and Thaman garu. There’s so much I want to share, but I’ll save it for the show.”
Singer Geetha Madhuri said, “Thanks to aha for giving me the opportunity to be a judge on Telugu Indian Idol Season 4. This is the third time in a row that I’ve been part of this wonderful journey as a judge. I too started my journey as a singer through reality shows, and watching these contestants reminds me of my own beginnings. I hope Season 4 becomes a huge success, and that all the contestants gain recognition and a bright future.”
Music director Thaman said, “I thank Allu Aravind garu and Trivikram garu for giving me the opportunity to be part of Telugu Indian Idol Season 4. Trivikram garu once told me, ‘There’s a poet within you.’ This show has brought about a new change in us. Out of nearly 6,000 contestants, selecting just 12 speaks volumes about the level of talent and competition. After this show, when we go for music concerts, people recognize us from Indian Idol. The number of attendees at our concerts has doubled – and that’s the recognition this show has brought us. If my movies reached audiences’ homes, this show brought me into their homes. Being part of Telugu Indian Idol feels like a responsibility and an honor. We’ve even had contestants from Dallas participate. We’re planning to organize this show in the US and Australia as well. That’s why we came up with the caption ‘Gully to Global.’ The show captures not just the singing, but also the emotions of family members and the dedication behind the contestants’ efforts. Coming to this show feels like going on a holiday. We consider Telugu Indian Idol as our own asset.”
Producer Allu Aravind said, “I had another meeting today and thought I might not be able to attend, but missing this would have meant missing the chance to witness such fresh talent. Season 3 of Telugu Indian Idol was phenomenal. I only decided to invest more in Season 4 because you promised to make it even better. We pay a licensing fee to Indian Idol every season to acquire the rights. And it’s clear that this season is even better than the last. For that, I must thank Thaman. He has breathed life into this show. Even school children are coming and singing beautifully. Children from other states are learning Telugu just to perform here. The craze for Telugu Indian Idol is so immense that people from America watch it and travel here just to participate. We used to say ‘Gully to Delhi’ – now it has truly become ‘Gully to Global.’ I’m proud that Aha is bringing a show like Telugu Indian Idol to the audience.”
