As Jana Nayagan gears up for its theatrical release, industry buzz suggests that Pooja Hegde’s role has been significantly reduced in the film’s final cut. The actress, who reportedly plays a journalist, is said to have lost several scenes during the editing process.

According to reports, director H. Vinoth made the changes to maintain the film’s pace and keep the narrative focused on Vijay’s politically driven character. However, the makers have not officially confirmed these reports.

Jana Nayagan marks Vijay and Pooja Hegde’s second collaboration after Beast. The film also stars Mamita Baiju and Bobby Deol in key roles and is produced by KVN Productions. It is set to hit theatres with its final edited version after undergoing multiple changes during post-production.
