Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural action–sports drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has already made a commanding impact through its promotional blitz. From the striking first-look posters to the soulful first two songs and the two contrasting character glimpses, every update has received an overwhelming response. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is set for a massive Pan-India release on June 4, with overseas premieres scheduled for June 3.
With the release countdown underway, the makers have now dropped a major announcement- the highly-awaited theatrical trailer will be unveiled on May 18th. Until now, the team has showcased only two distinct shades of Ram Charan’s character, leaving fans eager for the trailer, which is expected to reveal the film’s central plot and principal cast. The buzz around this trailer is already sky-high.
Adding to the excitement, the new poster showcases Ram Charan in true 1960’s rural person style going on train tracks. The poster amplifies how genuine and creative the team has been to the time period from sets to detailing in visuals. Ram Charan looks absolutely stunning in this outfit and get-up.
Meanwhile, Peddi is creating a storm in overseas markets. Pre-sales are surging at an extraordinary pace, placing the film on the brink of new records. Prathyangira Cinemas is handling international distribution.
Ram Charan has undergone an impressive physical and rugged transformation for the role, which spans multiple timelines. The glimpses released so far have already highlighted his remarkable dual look.
