‘King Buddha’ Movie Poster Launched in Texas

Cedar Park, Texas, USA: October 4, 2025 – The poster launch event for the film ‘King Buddha,’ which is being produced directly in Hollywood with the aim of spreading the message of world peace on an international level, was held grandly in the state of Texas, USA. The event was captivating, held in the presence of the movie producers, director Satya Reddy’s fans, the film unit members, and prominent personalities.

Matt Powell, who served three terms as the Mayor of Cedar Park, graced the event as the Chief Guest and officially launched the ‘King Buddha’ poster. Speaking on the occasion, Matt Powell stated, “Gautama Buddha worked immensely for world peace. I am delighted that Satya Reddy, a Tollywood director and my friend, is producing this film directly in Hollywood instead of making it in Tollywood or Bollywood and then dubbing it for Hollywood. As a person of Telugu origin, Satya Reddy, who is making a film in Hollywood with a huge budget, will remain in history.” He also promised to offer their assistance and cooperation for the film’s production, suggesting that their bungalows and properties could be used for shooting if needed.

One of the film’s producers, Shailar, said, “We will produce ‘King Buddha,’ which director Satya Reddy is making in Hollywood for world peace, with an unlimited budget and without compromising on any high-level technical assets.” He mentioned that he was attracted to the message after seeing many scenes related to the peaceful teachings of Buddhism in the film ‘Ukku Satyagraham,’ which was directed by Satya Reddy and starred Gaddar. “After watching that film, we decided to produce ‘King Buddha’ on a full scale in Hollywood for world peace under Satya Reddy’s direction. Now, that dream is about to come true with the story narrated by director Satya Reddy,” Shailar added.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Satya Reddy said, “I have a long experience of 30 years as an actor, producer, director, writer, and singer. When I told my producers about the ‘King Buddha’ concept for world peace, they immediately agreed to produce the film with a huge budget, featuring actors and technicians from Hollywood, Bollywood, and Tollywood, and gave me complete freedom.” He thanked the producers for organizing the poster launch event, as well as the fans, friends, and well-wishers who came from various states in America. Satya Reddy announced, “We will soon start the shooting of the film in a prominent Buddhist monastery in India, in the presence of the world’s leading Buddhist elders, gurus, monks, professors who have researched Buddhism, and Buddhist explorers.”

Satya Reddy has previously produced centenary films such as ‘Sardar Chinnapareddy,’ ‘Prathyusha,’ ‘Ayyappadeeksha,’ ‘Rangulakala,’ ‘Kurra Karu,’ ‘Premikula Roju’ (with hero Kunal), ‘Tinagar,’ ‘Siddham,’ ‘Glamour’ (with Karishma Kotak, who starred in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’), ‘Prashnistha,’ ‘Praja Yudhdha Nouka,’ and ‘Ukku Satyagraham’ (with Gaddar anna). Satya Reddy, who has worked internationally as the Chairman of the Film Chamber Producers Sector and the President of the Telugu Sena Party for public issues, was congratulated by a large number of fans, well-wishers, and industrialists on his first-time entry as a director in Hollywood.
