Irumudi Success Raises Expectations for Ravi Teja’s Next Film
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s latest film Irumudi has given his career a much-needed boost. After going through a lean phase with a string of unsuccessful films, the film’s success has emerged as a significant turning point for the actor. With some of his recent films failing to deliver the expected returns for producers, Ravi Teja has reportedly been opting for a profit-sharing model instead of demanding a hefty remuneration.
Following the success of Irumudi, there is now considerable interest in his upcoming project. Directed by Hasith Goli, the film is said to be a multi-starrer, with Sree Vishnu playing another key role. The project is being positioned as an entertainer and is being produced on a prestigious scale by leading Telugu producer Dil Raju under his banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The makers had initially planned to begin shooting in August, but the schedule was reportedly postponed due to certain reasons. The team is now gearing up to officially launch the film on August 28, following which regular shooting is expected to commence.
The makers are reportedly targeting a theatrical release on January 14, 2027, as a Sankranti festive release. Ravi Teja is also said to be continuing with the profit-sharing model for this project.
With Irumudi turning out to be a successful comeback of sorts for Ravi Teja, expectations are now significantly higher for his next collaboration with Hasith Goli and Sree Vishnu.
