In My 50 Years of Acting Career, I Feel Proud to Be Part of a Film Like Ari – Sai Kumar

Under the banner of Arvy Cinemas, Ari is presented by Ramireddy Venkateshwara Reddy (RV Reddy) and produced by Srinivas Ramireddy D, Sheshureddy Maramreddy, Dr. Thimmappa Naidu Purimetla, and Biram Sudhakar Reddy, with Linga Gunapaneni as co-producer. The film carries the tagline “My Name is Nobody.”
Starring Vinod Varma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sai Kumar, and Srikanth Iyengar in key roles, Ari is directed by Jayashankarr, the talented filmmaker who made a mark with Paper Boy. The film is gearing up for a worldwide grand theatrical release on October 10, distributed by Asian Suresh Distribution.
The pre-release event was held grandly in Hyderabad on Wednesday night, attended by several state ministers, film personalities, and political dignitaries.
Producer Dr. Thimmappa Naidu Purimetla Said, “Our director Jayashankarr made Ari with the theme of the Arishadvargas, blending all commercial elements. From the first narration, we knew the story would impress everyone. Many eminent personalities have praised the concept. I’m confident the film will perform strongly in theatres.”
MLC Addanki Dayakar said. “We must all support a meaningful film like Ari. Director Jayashankarr has made this with a powerful concept. It would have been even more special if dignitaries like Venkaiah Naidu garu and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy had attended this event. I acted as the hero in Indian Files, a film based on Indian history, and I request audiences to support Ari and make this team’s sincere effort a success.”
Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Ahobila Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy said, “Because of the impulses created by the Arishadvargas, humans tend to fall from grace. It’s admirable that Jayashankarr has crafted a film on such a profound subject. Since this film will do good for society, I came to bless it. Watch Ari and move closer to Hari.”
MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy said, “As humans, we all possess the Arishadvargas. It’s impossible to remove them completely, but we can minimize their impact. I hope Ari encourages society to do so. Supporting such good films will inspire more filmmakers to attempt meaningful cinema and bring new talent into the industry.”
MLA Venkataramana Reddy said,” I wish grand success for Ari, a film made with a strong message. I believe this movie will bring name and recognition to its director and producers.”
Telangana State Planning Board Vice-Chairman G. Chinna Reddy said,” Films like Ari are very important for our society. Such movies guide today’s youth, who are going off track, onto the right path. Only message-oriented films can truly enlighten audiences.”
Minister G. Vivek said, “Director Jayashankarr hails from our Peddapalli constituency. Earlier, he made Paper Boy, which was a hit. Now, with Ari, he has taken up the concept of the Arishadvargas, a fresh and unique idea. Sai Kumar garu, who acted in this film, is a dear friend of mine. The Arishadvargas exist within all of us, and we must learn to control them.
Filmmaking itself is a risk, and the Ari producers have taken that risk with courage. I hope they achieve success. We must continue supporting our film industry to help it grow and provide opportunities for local talent.”
Producer Prasanna Kumar said, “Director Jayashankarr made Ari based on the Arishadvargas, ensuring that the message connects well with today’s youth. Producers Ramireddy Venkateshwara Reddy, Srinivas Ramireddy, and Dr. Thimmappa Naidu, who live in the U.S. have made this film purely out of passion for cinema. I wish the entire Ari team great success.”
Producer Damodar Prasad said, “Since Ari is concept-oriented, I believe it will surely succeed. Despite facing some challenges, it’s finally arriving for release in perfect form. Every film with good content finds its audience, and Ari will too.”
Actor Vinod Varma, “Director Jayashankarr and I previously collaborated on a short film that was well received. He invited me to play a key role in Ari and asked me to maintain freshness throughout. I even had a three-page dialogue sequence! Working with an actor like Sai Kumar garu was intimidating at first.
Jayashankarr has crafted an entertaining film while carrying a meaningful message about controlling one’s emotions. The audience always supports good content, and we believe they’ll do the same for Ari.”
Producer Srinivas Ramireddy said, “Director Jayashankarr made Ari with the thought of showing how humans should and shouldn’t live. We loved the one-line story he narrated and immediately decided to produce it. The enemies we face are within us, the Arishadvargas. Only when we conquer them can we achieve greatness.
I thank my fellow producers and request Telugu audiences to bless Ari.”
Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj said, “Working on Ari was a wonderful experience. It’s an anthology-style film, and my character plays a crucial role. You’ll need to watch it on screen to see how it unfolds. With a strong message and solid entertainment, Ari will surely connect with the audience. Please watch and support our film.”
Music Director Anup Rubens said, “When director Jayashankarr narrated the concept of Ari, it immediately felt exciting. Even while scoring the background music, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The movie features six main characters, and I’m delighted that Sai Kumar garu plays one of them.
Making a film like Ari is no easy task, my congratulations to the producers. This film motivates us to overcome our weaknesses. I sincerely hope audiences don’t miss it.”
Director Jayashankarr said, “Ari is a mirror that reflects our inner selves. I met several spiritual masters while shaping this entertaining take on the Arishadvargas. After watching the film, viewers will feel they see themselves in its characters.
Without producer RV Reddy garu, Ari wouldn’t exist. He has supported this project for four years with unwavering passion. When the film faced difficulties, Dr. Thimmappa Naidu garu came forward to help.
Among the six lead roles, the first actor we finalized was Sai Kumar garu, and his performance is extraordinary. My friend Vinod Varma will also gain immense recognition with this film.”
Actor Sai Kumar said, “My mother used to narrate stories from the Puranas and epics during my childhood. When Jayashankarr told me he was making a film based on the Arishadvargas, it felt truly refreshing.
With six unique characters that never meet, Jayashankarr has crafted the film brilliantly. I, too, want to sit in the theatre and watch how it has turned out. In my 50 years of acting career, I feel proud to have acted in a film like Ari.
We have three visible ‘lions’ our producers here, and a fourth invisible lion, RV Reddy garu, who resides in America. Every actor in this film has performed wonderfully. Vinod Varma’s performance stands out. Anup’s music is beautiful. The entire crew worked tirelessly.
Recently, I gave voice to the Bhagavad Gita project by Gangadhara Sastry garu, reciting the Telugu version of 108 slokas describing Krishna’s teachings to Arjuna under JD Lakshmi Narayana garu’s guidance. Even GMR Group is bringing the Bhagavad Gita into Telugu with my narration. It feels as though Lord Krishna has been showering his grace upon me lately.
No matter how modern we become, we must never forget our civilization. Through the powerful medium of cinema, we are spreading a noble message. Elders have already blessed our film, Venkaiah Naidu garu even called Ari a ‘Modern Bhagavad Gita.’ I request everyone to watch this great film in theatres and bless our effort.”
