“Hello It’s Me”, starring Varun Sandesh as the hero & directed by Shagna Sri Venun
Shagna Sri Venun, who earned good recognition among audiences as a heroine with the film Government Junior College, has now turned director and is making the film “Hello It’s Me”. Varun Sandesh plays the lead role in this film, while Shagna herself appears as the heroine. Darshan Madamanchi plays another important role. The film is being produced by VSK Sanjeev, Vangapalli Sandeep, and Vangapalli Sankeerth under the banners S2S Cinemas and Shass Productions.
The film is currently in its final stages of shooting. The title and first look poster were launched today at an event held in Hyderabad. At the event. Actor Rajasekhar said, “I had worked with Shagna in a short film before, where I played her father. Since then, she has been calling me ‘Daddy.’ I am happy to get the opportunity to act in a good character in this film. When my parents named me Rajasekhar, Kalamatalli gave me another name. It’s been an interesting journey.”
Actor Dr. Bhadram said, “I am happy to act in ‘Hello It’s Me.’ I have previously acted with Varun Sandesh in the film Ninda and was amazed by his performance. I am sure his acting in this film will also be appreciated. Shagna has made this film with a lot of dedication. Even though the producers have many businesses, they entered the film industry purely out of passion.”
Actor Jaswanth said. “This film has very good content. After watching it, both boys and girls will understand what mistakes they should avoid. Shagna will earn a good name as a director with this film.”
Actress Nandini said, “This is my first film as an actress. I am very happy to act alongside my favorite hero, Varun Sandesh, in my debut. I am thankful to director and heroine Shagna and the producers for giving me this opportunity.”
Cinematographer Brahmateja Maripudi said, “Shagna has handled this film like a one-woman army. Recently, we had extremely cold weather, but we still did night shootings. The performances of the artists will be a major highlight of the movie.”
Music Director Vamsikanth Rekhana said. “I am happy to be part of a good film like ‘Hello It’s Me.’ The film shows how today’s youth should and should not behave. After Varun Sandesh joined the project, I became even more excited. He liked all the songs very much.”
Producer VSK Sanjeev said, “After we announced the film, I received questions from my circle asking why a successful businessman would enter filmmaking, where there is no guarantee of success. People also asked why we made a heroine the director. But when Shagna narrated the story, her passion was very clear. She is a girl with strong determination to achieve something. Even after becoming a heroine, she didn’t stop; she is now directing the film. I wanted to support someone with such passion. Varun Sandesh has been like a brother to us, and we will never forget his support. Our team is working passionately, and after seeing their dedication, I started going to shoots every day. Soon, we will release the film with good content.”
Producer Vangapalli Sandeep said, “Shagna has worked very hard for this film, performing as a heroine while directing, which is not easy. We like Varun Sandesh very much, and his joining this project doubled our excitement. Music is the soul of the film, and all six songs by Vamsikanth are excellent. This film, made with so much effort by our team, will definitely impress the audience.”
Director of Ninda, Rajesh Jaganatham (RJ) said, “It is very rare for a young heroine to act and direct a film at the same time. Shagna deserves our appreciation. Producers Sanjeev, Sandeep, and Sankeerth are very passionate. I am working with them on the film Athreyapuram Brothers. Varun Sandesh has been doing consecutive thrillers, and in this film, we will see him in a good family romantic-comedy genre.”
Heroine & Director Shagna Sri Venun said, “This is my first film as a director. I am making it with a strong story. Every boy and girl can relate to it, and the youth will connect with our film. When the film was announced, people spoke negatively about a heroine directing a film. But our producers trusted me and made the film without paying attention to doubts. There is no gender difference in direction; what matters is whether the scene turns out as imagined. For that, the team’s support is essential, and I am fortunate to have such a supportive team. Varun Sandesh supported me immensely. I narrated the story to him for several hours, and he listened patiently and cooperated fully. Only a few shooting days are left. I thank our editor Chota K Prasad, DOP, music director, my direction team, and all the artists.”
Hero Darshan Madamanchi said, “When Shagna narrated this story, I found it very interesting and immediately wanted to perform this character. Such opportunities don’t come often; it took me a few years to get an offer like this. Every artist has their time, and today it’s our turn. This film will make audiences remember all of us.”
Hero Varun Sandesh said, “My recent project Nayanam received good appreciation. I have been doing thrillers continuously, and at such a time, I am doing a clean family love film with ‘Hello It’s Me.’ This film beautifully shows the problems youth face due to misunderstandings. Shagna narrated the story in a next-level way, and I immediately believed she would make a good film. My recent project Nayanam was also directed by a woman director, Swathi, and became a hit. I trust Shagna will continue that success. Audiences still love songs from my previous films like Kotha Bangaru Lokam and Happy Days; this film’s songs will fill that gap. Vamsikanth has given excellent music. I wish passionate producers Sandeep, Sanjeev, and Sankeerth great success with this film. I request everyone to support our team.”
