Hero Kiran Abbavaram and heroine Sri Gouri Priya star together in “Chennai Love Story,” produced by the successful duo SKN and Sai Rajesh, who previously delivered cult classics like “Colour Photo” and “Baby.” The film is being produced under the Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers banners by SKN and Sai Rajesh. Sai Rajesh has penned the story, while Ravi Namburi directs the film. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma has composed the music for the project.

“Chennai Love Story” is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 24th of this month. Ahead of the release, the makers organized a grand press meet in Hyderabad today, where Kiran Abbavaram’s birthday was also celebrated in a festive atmosphere.

Speaking at the event:

Actress Siri Hanumanthu said, “I’m very happy to be a part of ‘Chennai Love Story.’ On the 24th of this month, audiences will witness a beautiful love story through our film. I thank our director and producers for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful project.”

Heroine Sri Gouri Priya said, “First of all, I wish Kiran garu a very happy birthday. It’s been a year since we released the glimpse from our movie, and you have continued to enjoy and support it throughout. Our film is releasing in just a week, and we need your support even more now. The film is emotionally hard-hitting. The lead scene featuring the song ‘Vadalane’ is beautifully presented, and several sequences in the second half will stay with audiences for a long time. My character has multiple layers. If you’ve watched the four songs we’ve released so far, you’ll notice I appear differently in each one. Our film shows what pure love truly looks like.”

Co-producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “The meaning of love changes with time, but for me, love means ‘Chennai Love Story’ right now. For the next month, this film is my love.”

Director Ravi Namburii said, “The conversations between Steven Shankar and Nivi are one of the highlights of our film. We spent considerable time writing meaningful dialogues for these two characters, and our producers gave us the creative freedom to do so. Once Steven and Nivi came alive on paper, their personalities naturally shaped their dialogues. Both are very strong characters. If I receive appreciation for writing Steven’s character well, the credit belongs to Sai Rajesh garu and the affection I have for him. When Sai Rajesh narrated the story, he suggested setting it in Chennai, and I immediately felt the city had a unique vibe that suited the narrative perfectly.”

Story Writer and Producer Sai Rajesh said, “We never felt the pressure of making a film with a star because Kiran has been incredibly supportive throughout the process. When I first narrated the story, he told us that he trusted us completely and knew how committed we were to filmmaking. From that day until now, he has never interfered in the creative process. He has worked extremely hard for this film. While watching the second half, I was amazed by Kiran’s performance, and I strongly believe this film will earn him tremendous recognition. I wish him a very happy birthday and hope he reaches even greater heights in the coming year. I can’t direct every story I write because I’m currently busy with the Hindi remake of ‘Baby.’ That’s why I entrusted the direction to my close friend Ravi. Ever since ‘Baby,’ we’ve shared a great creative wavelength. Chennai is deeply connected to the story, which is why we titled it ‘Chennai Love Story.’ During ‘Baby,’ we had enough time to sit with Vijay Bulganin and create the music. This time, the schedule was tighter, so we chose Mani Sharma garu because he can deliver exceptional quality music in a short span of time.”

Producer SKN said, “Kiran garu and Sri Gouri Priya have delivered fantastic performances in our film, and every supporting artist has done a wonderful job as well.
