Grand Pre-Release Press Meet Held for Prabhas’ Prestigious Film The Raja Saab
“We are expecting over ₹100 crore in global collections on Day 1” – Producer TG Vishwa Prasad
“Audiences will walk out of theatres with hearts full of joy” – Director Maruthi
Rebel Star Prabhas’ prestigious upcoming film The Raja Saab is all set to hit theatres worldwide on January 9, adding double excitement to the Sankranthi season. Directed by Maruthi, the film is being made as a grand horror comedy fantasy entertainer, designed to become an evergreen festive film. The project is produced on a massive scale with uncompromising production values by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad.
The film stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads. Ahead of its grand release, the pre-release press meet of The Raja Saab was held in a grand manner today in Hyderabad, with the team sharing their excitement and confidence in the film.
Riddhi Kumar said,“We truly miss Prabhas garu at this event. The response to the second trailer has been huge. As shown in the trailer, the film is packed with romance, action, and horror elements, keeping the audience engaged throughout. Viewers will feel like they’ve entered a fantasy world. Every moment on this film was enjoyable, and I thank Maruthi garu and Vishwa Prasad garu for this opportunity.”
Nidhhi Agerwal said, “The set of The Raja Saab became like a second home for us. This is a very special film in my career. I’ve never experienced such a fun-filled shoot before. After this film, I’ve become a huge fan of Darling Prabhas. The movie has turned out beautifully, and audiences will truly celebrate Sankranthi with this film.”
Producer Krithi Prasad said, “Thank you to everyone who attended today. We are eagerly waiting for audiences to watch and enjoy The Raja Saab in theatres from January 9.”
Creative Producer SKN said, “People Media Factory has given opportunities to many newcomers and is nearing its 50th film. The Raja Saab should become a big success for Vishwa Prasad garu and my sister Krithi. Maruthi has presented Prabhas in a completely fresh way. BookMyShow bookings are giving us goosebumps. After premieres, audiences will talk about Prabhas’ performance, Maruthi’s vision, and the scale of this film.”
Music Director Thaman said, “Calling The Raja Saab a pan-India film is too small—it’s a pan-world film. Maruthi created an entirely new world, and the background score was designed to match that scale. ‘Nache Nache’ has become a massive success, and audiences will enjoy Prabhas’ performance and dance like never before. This Sankranthi is going to be a blockbuster.”
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said, “Our journey with The Raja Saab began three years ago. What started as a horror comedy evolved into a large-scale horror fantasy film with massive sets. Indian cinema has not seen a fantasy film of this scale before. The film balances horror, comedy, romance, action, and emotion perfectly. The buzz in Telugu states is phenomenal, with strong reach in North India and Karnataka as well. The film will release in 4,500 screens across North India. We expect over ₹100 crore in global collections on Day 1.”
Director Maruthi said, “The Raja Saab mansion set felt like home for nearly one and a half years. Thaman has elevated the film with his music. Prabhas will appear exactly how audiences have been wanting to see him. With premieres starting tomorrow, audiences will walk into theatres with excitement and come out with double the happiness. The Raja Saab will feel like a Disney-style fantasy film.”
